Retainer Basis Engagement

CPA provides ‘on-going general advisory support’ to assist clients to sustainably improve management of businesses. Our guidance, strategic insights and technical inputs are unbiased, non-binding and comprehensive.

Our clients usually participate in testing the validity of our analyses and likely outcomes of decision options. This leads to well thought out decisions aligned with client’s business priorities helping transfer knowledge and skills. CPA’s retained services allow clients ‘working day access’ for support as needed.

Consultancy for specific matters

CPA assists management teams in reaching practical resolution of existing issues / challenges. CPA’s support for senior executive management in their day-to-day managerial responsibilities enhances efficiency in decision making. Providing guidance on specific matters (including regulatory compliance, risk and operations) enables senior management of financial and commercial businesses to strengthen their decisioning processes and improve anticipation of overall outcomes. Keeping sight of the operating frameworks (policy, legal and regulatory) has helped clients avoid significant financial and reputational loss.


Administrative Support Services

CPA’s services extend to helping businesses in,

a) preparation of meeting notices, agendas, minutes, board and committee reports, resolutions, and high-quality drafting of accurate and unambiguous communications. Annual director’s reports, miscellaneous financial writing and other project work.

b) CPA is also able to provide objective reviews of internal communications to ensure timely accurate and objective inputs for decision makers.

c) CPA assists businesses in their procurement processes by drafting, reviewing and editing Requests for Proposals / Expressions of Interest.

Remote Cover

CPA can cover for short-term absences, alongside remote support for BAU needs, when workloads are high or following an internal re-structure.


Strategic Alliances

CPA maintains strategic alliances with qualified professionals practicing in areas of, business research and data analytics including IT business, legal procedure, taxation and accountancy, and company administration locally and internationally. These resources can be mobilized to assist clients independently.

Our current engagements under Non-Disclosure Agreements (SL and UK clients) include

• currently functioning in role of Secretary to Board of Financial Ombudsman Sri Lanka,
• ‘resource person’ services to financial sector and corporates,
• local representative for identifying business opportunities for overseas company,
• organising client processes to move away from paper prolific systems / streamlining internal communication content especially for boards of directors, data and information collection (digitising such data and information)
• reviewing operation of internal controls and effectiveness of oversight, particularly in mitigating and addressing circumstances that result from or lead to fraud.
